This was followed by further specialisation in facial plastic surgery through a Craniofacial Fellowship under the supervision of Dr Mark H Moore, at the world renowned centre in Adelaide, now known as Cleft and Craniofacial South Australia, formerly the Australian Craniofacial Unit, as well as a Facial Aesthetic Fellowship under the supervision of Dr Jacques van der Meulen and Dr Jeroen Stevens through ISAPS, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the Velthuis Kliniek in Rotterdam.

Dr Azzopardi now runs AZZXPARDI, as founder and surgeon, his practice of facial aesthetic rejuvenation. Dr Azzopardi is also a consultant plastic surgeon, visiting medical specialist at The Women's and Children's Hospital in North Adelaide.
